Jussi Lehtipuu
Baritone Jussi Lehtipuu, a graduate of the Sibelius Academy and the Amsterdam Conservatory, has performed a wide range of repertoire throughout Europe. In recent years, he has premiered new contemporary works by Jamie Man (Gulbenkian Orchestra, Lisbon), Riikka Talvitie (RSO, Helsinki) and Raphaël Cendo (Silbersee, Amsterdam). With different ensembles, Lehtipuu has also combined singing, cello playing or dancing to create new ways of expressing opera. During the COVID-19 lockdown, his new production was funded by the Kone Foundation. Lehtipuu has early music sung extensively, especially in the Netherlands, but also in France as a soloist with Les Talents Lyriques and the Ensemble Matheus.
